Our school
As you may have read in our previous posts, this year’s conference will take place in Budapest, at Eötvös József Secondary School.
Let us briefly introduce our school!
- The school is located in the 5th district, in the heart of Budapest.
- It was established in 1854 as the first Hungarian-language secondary school with focus on scientific subjects.
There are currently around 900 students in our school studying languages, mathematics, science, or humanities. - Our school is well known for its high academic standards and student life, we have a wide range of school programmes and extra-curricular activities organised by students and teachers.
- The motto of our school is:
“Education is the guarantee of freedom” – József Eötvös.
